What you should know about Bates Beach Boat House and Boat Rentals
Located in Courtenay, Bates Beach Boat House & Boat Rentals has been family owned and operated since 1946. We're situated on the inside passage to Alaska and we're close to Nature Park, where you'll find excellent hiking and biking trails. You'll see tidal pools, blue herons, eagles, rock reefs, harbour seals and other wildlife. You'll enjoy oceanfront camping and 1 and 2 bedroom condo rentals, a kids' playground, boat and kayak rentals, salmon and bottom fishing, and a summer program. We also have a Laundromat, and snacks and groceries are for sale at our office.
